Are you passionate about Theatre? Do you want to lend your expertise and leadership to make a real impact in the LGBTQIA+ community? We have an exciting opportunity for you! 

We are Celebration Theatre, a nonprofit organization dedicated to entertaining, inspiring and empowering with innovative productions that celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community. We have been serving the community since 1982, and as one of the world’s very oldest queer and allied theatre organizations, our decades of artmaking and community building reverberate throughout LA and beyond.

But we can’t do this alone. We need dedicated, dynamic individuals like you to help us grow and expand our impact.

We are seeking new board members who are eager to contribute their time, skills, and passion to our cause. 

As a board member, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Provide fundraising support to our organization
• Work alongside other dedicated and experienced board members
• Develop leadership skills and deepen your understanding of nonprofit governance
• Make a tangible difference in the LGBTQIA+ Community
• Participate in meaningful and rewarding volunteer work
• Be a part of a vibrant and supportive community working for change

Ideal board candidates should have:

• A passion for our mission and a desire to make a difference
• Professional expertise in areas like fundraising, financial management, strategic planning, marketing, or law
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A commitment to participate actively in board meetings and organizational events
