Mario Burrell

Mario (he/him) has been a Celebration Theatre company member for four years. He is honored to be working with such talented and passionate artists. As an undergrad, he studied at London’s Royal Court Theatre. He received his MFA in Acting from the University of Washington. As a stand-up comic, he has performed at the Laugh Factory, the Improv, and The Comedy Store. His solo show Every Nigger is a Star (Los Angeles) was sold out for every performance and the show’s run was extended multiple times. The show was accepted to New York’s Fringe Festival and received tremendous reviews. Mario was a cast member in the Broadway production of Rent.
